Yesterday, Las Crucens woke up to constant rain showers which caused minor flooding across the city; and as KRWG's Mayra Torres reports, a meteorologist says the wet weather will likely last through the weekend.

Las Cruces, NM – Yesterday, an El Paso resident was arrested after lying to police officers about being kidnapped to avoid getting in trouble with his wife. Last week, thirty-one year old Juan Carlos Rivas told police investigators he had been kidnapped by three men and left in his vehicle overnight.

Las Cruces, NM – More than 500 people have been murdered in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico since the beginning of the year, and sources say more than 1800 killings related to the drug trade have occurred across Mexico in 2008.
