23rd Texas Congressional District Declared Unconstitutional

Las Cruces, NM – Wednesday the United States Supreme Court upheld the 2003 redrawing of most Texas congressional districts. The one district the court did find in violation includes part of El Paso County. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the new boundaries of representative Henry Bonilla's district breaches the Voting Rights Act, infringing upon minority voting rights.
