By KRWG News

Las Cruces – The U.S. Marshals Service and the Southwest Fugitive Task Force arrested 24 individuals on Thursday during a warrant roundup in Las Cruces.

The roundup, dubbed Operation Hit Parade, targeted individuals in Las Cruces who were wanted on domestic violence warrants, Third Judicial District Court warrants and state probation absconders.

Some of Thursday's 24 arrestees had multiple warrants so the operation cleared a total of 33 warrants. In addition to the arrests, the task force seized two grams of methamphetamine during the operation.

The Southwest Fugitive Task force includes representatives of the Las Cruces Police Department, the Dona Ana County Sheriff's Office, the U.S. Border Patrol and the New Mexico Adult Probation Office.
