The New Mexico State University Men’s basketball team is in the national spotlight tonight (Thursday), as they take on the Indiana Hoosiers in the NCAA tournament.
Fred Martino reports.
The Aggies (26-9) will make their 19th NCAA tournament appearance and second under coach Marvin Menzies to go along with winning the conference tournament in 2010.
The Aggies' physical domination over Louisiana Tech was a tuneup for the NCAA tournament. The 25-point margin of victory was the largest in a title game in WAC tournament history.
But Aggies head coach Marvin Menzies says….his team is the underdog against Indiana tonight (Thursday).
The No. 13 seed New Mexico State Aggies will take on the No. 4 seed Indiana Hoosiers tonight (Thursday) at approximately 7:45 p.m. (MT) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Locally…the game can be seen on CBS.
