A Farmington man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly pointed a gun at another driver along Interstate 10 south of Las Cruces.
Doña Ana County Sheriff’s deputies stopped the vehicle near Stern Drive. A passenger inside, identified as 24-year-old Joseph Klemish, had allegedly pointed a black handgun at another vehicle earlier along the interstate.
The victim in the incident called 911 just before 8 a.m. to report what had happened. He described the involvement between the two vehicles as “road rage” and told deputies Klemish was in the passenger seat and allegedly pointed a black handgun towards his direction.
Klemish was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was transported to the Doña Ana County Detention Center where he was booked without bond, pending arraignment.
