Allen Weh Takes Aim At Udall In New Ad

Allen Weh (R) U.S. Senate candidate

Today, U.S. Senate Candidate Allen Weh hit the TV airwaves with another ad which contrasts the daily struggle of working New Mexicans with that of U.S. Senator Tom Udall. Udall has spent the last 15 years in Washington, DC living a life of luxury and privilege, travelling the world and becoming a millionaire.

“While New Mexicans struggle day to day under the economic policies of Barack Obama and Tom Udall, my opponent has a history of taking extravagant trips around the world paid for by special interest groups,” stated Weh  “And while he uses class warfare in his political campaign, his senate financial disclosure report reveals that he’s a multimillionaire. Add the fact that Tom Udall has a “Cadillac” federal health insurance plan, while 46,000 New Mexicans have had their coverage dropped under Obamacare, and we see a career politician who acts and lives as if he’s above the people. Tom’s taken hypocrisy to a whole new level. New Mexicans see their incomes shrinking and more than one out of five are in poverty.  The Obama-Udall policies are largely responsible for this. I’ve built a business and created jobs; I’m not a career politician like Tom Udall and intend to work hard to help New Mexico when I’m elected. I won’t forget where I came from.” Weh added.

Titled “Millionaire,” the 30-second TV ad begins airing statewide today.

Allen Weh is New Mexico's Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate, and CEO of CSI Aviation Inc., an international air support and aviation logistics company based in Albuquerque, NM, which he founded in 1979. A 38-year veteran of the USMC and Reserve with service in Vietnam, Somalia, and Iraq, Weh earned three Purple Hearts in combat service, along with numerous other medals and awards. In 2012, the New Mexico Business Weekly named him as one of the state's top performing CEOs. He is married to the former Rebecca Roberton and has three children and seven grandchildren. Weh holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from the University of New Mexico.
