Las Cruces – The Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley has qualified to be one of the 93 shelters to take part in the qualifying round of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals "Save more Lives Challenge".
The top 50 shelters with the most votes will win the contestant slots for this year's Save More Loves Challenge and qualify for grants and other funding to improve the shelter and save the lives of more Las Cruces animals.
