Another Bear Captured In Albuquerque

For the second day in a row, officials have captured a bear in Albuquerque.

KOAT-TV reports that New Mexico Game and Fish officials caught the bear napping in southeast Albuquerque Wednesday morning, the day after officers captured a 300-pound bear near the foothills in northeast Albuquerque.

The bear caught Tuesday was tranquilized and then released in northern New Mexico.

Game and Fish officials say the drought has hit the bears hard, forcing them to come into populated areas to find food.
