Another Lackland Trainer Convicted In Sex Scandal

Another Air Force basic training instructor in South Texas has been sentenced to prison in a sex scandal and will be booted out of the military.

A military judge at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland on Thursday sentenced Master Sgt. Jamey Crawford to seven months of confinement for improper relationships with two female trainees. Crawford was accused of having sex with both women during 2011.

Crawford, who was also convicted of making false statements to investigators, must perform two months of hard labor and will have a bad-conduct discharge. He's been in the Air Force for 14 years and sought to remain in the military.

Crawford is the 10th Lackland instructor to be convicted or plead guilty in the continuing investigation.
