A bankruptcy judge has ordered attorneys for a New Mexico diocese to explain why a property auction wasn't made public.
The Gallup Independent reports that representatives of the Diocese of Gallup are scheduled to appear before U.S. bankruptcy Judge David T. Thuma on Wednesday.

The diocese hired Accelerated Marketing Group CEO named Todd Good to bar anyone except qualified bidders from entering the Albuquerque auction. Good says they have discretion as to how to conduct the sale.
