The Becky Fund- 2006 Trip

Las Cruces, NM – This spring, Las Crucen Dinny Bomberg went on her annual mission to Peru honoring her daughter, Becky, who died there in a car accident three years ago. Becky Pritchard had opened a restaurant in Pisac and worked with the local children, who used to beg for food, by teaching them to perform native songs and dances. Her mother now continues the work through "The Becky Fund" by bringing desperately needed school supplies to these poorest of Peruvian children, who live in the Andes Mountains. KRWG's Jodi Breisler caught up with Bomberg after her most recent trip.
