Alamogordo – An Alamogordo woman says her son has the magic touch whenever he buys her tickets for the New Mexico Lottery.
Jackie Hunt says she asked her 18-year-old son Jimmy to get some tickets for her Wednesday.
She says he's been her good luck charm because whenever he gets tickets, she always wins her money back.
This time, the $20 "Diamond Explosion" Scratcher that Jimmy Hunt left for his mother on the kitchen counter concealed a six-figure prize.
The Alamogordo Daily News says the winning ticket was worth $200,000.
Mother and son spent the rest of their evening emailing photos of the winning ticket to family and friends.
After getting something special for her son, Jackie Hunt says she plans to invest the prize to help secure her retirement.
