Senator Bingaman says the economy is the number one issue in the Fall elections.
He tells KRWG News he will not endorse a candidate in the Democratic primary for his seat in the Senate…but will work to support the eventual Democratic nominee and President Obama.
Connected to job creation and ensuring a long-term economic recovery, Bingaman says Congress and the President must create a budget that deals with deficit reduction in a fair way…and Bingaman says, that means the wealthy will have to see their taxes return to previous levels.
