Campaign Finance

By KRWG News

SANTA FE, N.M. – (AP) A new disclosure by candidates for governor and other elective offices will show how much money they've raised since last fall.

Candidates and political committees face a deadline Monday for filing reports that disclose campaign contributions and expenditures from October through April 5.

The reports will be available to the public on the secretary of state's Web site.

Lt. Gov. Diane Denish is running unopposed on the June primary election ballot for the Democratic nomination for governor. She had more than $2 million in her campaign account last October.

Five Republicans are seeking the GOP nomination for governor.

Absentee and early voting in the primary will start next month.
