The City of Las Cruces is partnering with the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) and Doña Ana Community College (DACC) to host a free “Job to Career Readiness Boot Camp” Wednesday, July 30, at the DACC Gadsden Campus, 1700 East O’Hara Road in Anthony, NM.
The event will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with registration beginning with 7:30 a.m. Complimentary lunch will be provided.
The boot camp will provide job seekers training on landing interviews, demonstrating workplace do’s and don’ts, and highlighting proper workplace etiquette.
An estimated 1,000 entry level positions exist in the area to include manufacturing, secretarial/clerical and call centers.
An additional career boot camp will be held Wednesday, September 17, at the DACC Sunland Park Campus, 3365 McNutt Rd., Sunland Park, NM.
