Centennial High School In Las Cruces Wins National Contest For Free Prom

High School Nation (HSN) has announced that Centennial High School in Las Cruces is the winner of its national contest for a free prom.

Ten schools were finalists for the contest, which pits the principals of each school against each other to try and win the coveted prize of a FREE PROM for their school in 2016. “You can really tell how much they care about their students from their willingness to go all out with their dance moves in front of so many teachers and teens!” said Jimmy Cantillon, founder of High School Nation. When asked what the winning campus can expect, Cantillon added “We have some fun surprises in store for our winner. It will include a few special guests performers, and some really memorable moments. We can’t wait to see their reactions!”

The nine other finalists included Tulare Union High School (Tulare, CA), Hanford High School (Hanford, CA), Buena High School (Ventura, CA), San Gorgonio High School (San Bernardino, CA), Lawndale High School (Lawndale, CA), La Joya High School (Avondale, AZ), Maryvale High School (Phoenix, AZ), Cholla High School (Tucson, AZ), Silverado High School (Las Vegas, NV)All principals were filmed during HSN’s visit to their campus earlier this spring.
