City Discusses Future Relations with El Paso Electric

1/10/07 – An informational public meeting was held in Las Cruces city hall yesterday/Tuesday to clear up confusion regarding the city's franchise agreement with El Paso Electric. In June, the electric utility company asked the Public Regulation Commission for an 18% rate increase for the citizens of Las Cruces. as KRWG's Amanda Grube reports, the city is planning an intervention with the PRC to fight the rate increase.
