City Of Las Cruces Hosting Fall Festival

By Vanessa Dabovich

Las Cruces, NM – The event, in its first year, will feature an appreciation and awards ceremony and Mayor's cookout for Las Cruces first responders including law enforcement and emergency services.

The New Mexico Department of Game and fish will also be on hand to stock Burn Lake and conduct a fishing clinic.

The event will also feature soccer league games and several booths featuring various community services.

City Councillor Nathan Small, whose district includes the area, says his hope is to make the event an annual tradition so that the City can continue to improve the part for generations to enjoy.

Burn Lake is located south of Amador Avenue between Valley Drive and Motel Boulevard. The festival will take place Saturday, November 13th from one to four in the afternoon.
