Compress Road will be closed to through traffic for one-day beginning Wednesday, July 17, at 7 a.m. The closure will be at the intersection of Compress Road and Amador Avenue, as well as El Molino Street. Detours will be in place during the closure. Only business traffic will have access at all times. Amador Avenue will have the outside east bound lane closed 600-feet before and through the intersection at Compress Road.
Smith & Aguirre Construction Company, Inc. will be striping Compress Road as part of the El Molino phase VI Reconstruction Project. The road closure will not impact any RoadRUNNER Transit Routes. Motorists wanting to avoid possible delays should seek alternate routes.
