Cooler Temperatures Slow Fire In Carson National Forest

Firefighters say a wildfire in the Carson National Forest east of Taos is moving slowly, thanks in part to cooler temperatures. The fire has burned about 429 acres and has zero containment. Firefighters say they don't plan a direct attack on the fire due to the rugged terrain and other hazards. The fire was reported Tuesday about 5 miles northeast of the town of Red River.
