Las Cruces – Las Cruces City Council members are expected to discuss concerns raised about City Manager Terrence Moore during a closed meeting Monday.
As many as five anonymous calls were made to the hotline involving trips Moore made last year to Chicago and Santa Fe and claims that a city employee was required to baby-sit Moore's two sons in December while he attended a City Council meeting.
However, Mayor Ken Miyagishima says there are records to verify any discrepancies about Moore's travel and the circumstances involving Moore's two sons have all been resolved.
The city's Ethics and Compliance Hotline is available to residents and city employees who wish to file complaints against elected city government officials and city administrators. Moore is in the second year of a three-year contract as city manager.
