Las Cruces, NM – Due to an outpouring of public support and donations more than four dozen dogs at the Dona Ana County-Las Cruces animal shelter no longer have to be euthanized. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the dogs were going to be euthanized to make room for 12 pit bulls being held by the county from an unresolved dog fighting case.
