Las Cruces, NM – Wednesday, Governor Bill Richardson dispatched state police officers to Akela Flats in Luna County to block access to a high-stakes bingo parlor. Richardson says the Fort Sill Apache Tribe's proposed casino is illegal and says he was forced to take matter into his own hands. As KRWG's Marco Grajeda reports, the tribe's chairman accused Richardson of harassment and promised to take legal action.
