Democratic Party Chairwoman Deb Haaland announced DPNM’s new Executive Director Monday morning. Joe Kabourek, an attorney and top-level staffer from Colorado has been called on to lead the Dem’s into the crucial 2016 election cycle.
"I look forward to working with Democrats across New Mexico to win in 2016 and to create a strong foundation for elections to come,” said Kabourek on Monday.
Kabourek comes to New Mexico from Denver, CO where he worked on multiple federal, state and local campaigns, as well as being a licensed attorney in Colorado. His priority is to work closely with Democratic leadership across New Mexico to ensure wins up-and-down the ticket in 2016, and at the same time help to create a sound infrastructure for elections to come.
“I am extremely excited for Joe to come on board and put his skills to work for our New Mexico Democrats on Day one,” said Haaland on Monday. “He brings a unique skill set and range of ideas that I know will translate and work very well in New Mexico.”
