Difficult driving conditions are reported Thursday morning on some highways in rural areas of northern New Mexico.
The state Department of Transportation says highways in the vicinity of Holman, Red River, Agua Fria and Idlewild are icy and packed with snow. There's also blowing snow that is creating poor visibility.
Affected highways include U.S. 64 between Agua Fria and Idlewild and segments of New Mexico Routes 38, 434 and 518.
