Several Doña Ana County Community Resource Centers will double as cooling stations this week, relieving residents of triple-digit temperatures as the forecast for Thursday and Friday are expected to reach 109 and 108 degrees, respectively.
The temporary centers are designated for the elderly, travelers passing through Doña Ana County, or anyone seeking cool shelter and rehydration from the sun and extreme temperatures.
The designated cooling centers include:

Doña Ana CRC | 5745 Ledesma Dr. |
Centers will be open from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m., offering bottled water and limited seating.
