Las Cruces, NM – The Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department plans to remove its victim's advocacy program in a couple of weeks to make up for a budget shortfall. Sheriff's officials say their department will work with local non-profit groups to ensure victims of violence continue finding help; but as KRWG's Melissa Aguilera reports, not everyone is convinced the program's unique services will be found anywhere else.
