A series of five community meetings – one in each of Doña Ana County’s five commission districts – has been scheduled to solicit public input on priority needs for capital-outlay funding in individual communities. Once a priority list is compiled, it will be used to lobby the 2015 New Mexico Legislature for funding.
Meeting Dates & Locations are as follows:
Tuesday, April 15 – Radium Springs Community Center, 10260 Lindbeck Rd.
Wednesday, April 16 – Betty McKnight Community Center, 190 County Line Rd.
Thursday, April 17 – Vado/Del Cerro Community Center, 180 La Fe Ave.
Tuesday, April 22 – Las Alturas Fire Station, 4145 Cholla Dr.
Thursday, April 24 – Butterfield Community Center, 7350 Berry Patch Rd.
Each meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
Staff from the Doña Ana County Community Development Department will be on hand at each of the community meetings, and Spanish translation services will be available.
