El Paso Health CEO To Serve As Vice Chair Of Health Plans Board

The Board of the Texas Association of Community Health Plans (TACHP) has selected Mr. Frank Dominguez, CEO for El Paso Health, as its 2018 Vice-Chair.  Here is the information provided by El Paso Health:

Mr. Dominguez will assist in directing a membership of 12 Texas-based companies that collectively serve over 2 million Texans and who are committed to supporting and improving the health needs of people living at low to moderate incomes.

“Frank is the new generation of healthcare leadership in this state. He’s a skilled businessman, is open to new ideas and innovation, and truly cares about improving the lives of disadvantaged Texans. His expertise in organizational development and successful business operations makes him a role model for other healthcare executives in Texas,” said Kay Ghahremani, President and CEO of TACHP.

Mr. Dominguez will work closely with Board Chair Darnell Dent, CEO for FirstCare Health Plans, to promote the advantages of locally established companies in consumer and provider satisfaction, connection to community resources important for low-income populations, and for improving the quality of healthcare.

“It is great to have Frank working on health plans at the State level,” said Jacob Cintron, President and CEO, University Medical Center of El Paso. “He has always been an advocate for better healthcare for El Pasoans.  Frank is a genuine asset to TACHP, and his inclusion as an innovative leader in healthcare will benefit all Texans.”
