El Paso Passport Day Planned For September 26

The El Paso Passport Agency is hosting a special passport day on Saturday, September 26 as part of the Department of State’s “Apply Early” campaign for Passport Awareness Month in September.  The Department is expecting an increase in passport applications through 2018.  The “Apply Early” campaign encourages travelers to submit passport applications well ahead of their planned travel dates in order to avoid delays receiving their travel documents.  Typically, applicants can receive their passports more quickly when applying between the months of September to December.  The event on Saturday is a convenient way to drop off passport renewal applications, apply for the first time, submit data changes, or add extra visa pages.

Day:  Saturday, September 26

Time:  8:00am – 1:00pm

Location:  303 N. Oregon Street, Anson Mills Building

Payment:  Credit card, personal check, exact cash (no change is given)

Applicants may choose routine service (4-6 weeks) or expedited service (3 weeks).  The expedited service costs an additional $60.  Applicants will be seen on a first come, first serve basis and no appointment is necessary.
