Las Cruces, NM – Twenty-Five Years ago, US and Mexican officials signed an environmental cooperation agreement, creating a bi-national program to reduce pollution along the US-Mexico Border.In 2002, the EPA and its Mexican counterpart, created a ten-year program called Border 2012 U-S-Mexico Environmental Program, run by the U-S Environmental Protection Agency & Mexico's Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources.
