o   Thru Oct. 22 – “36 Views of Baylor Canyon” by Thom Sawyer, featuring graphite & color pencil drawings of Baylor Canyon.

o   Saturday, Sept. 24, 9 a.m. “Lift Your Voice”- Grand Opening of the National of African American History & Culture in Washington, D.C.

·         Museum of Art

o   The Las Cruces Museum of Art hosts changing contemporary art exhibits, including national, international, juried, traveling and invitational exhibits. The museum runs an extensive art studio class program for all ages.

o   Contemporary Japanese Ceramics from the Gordon Brodfuehrer Collection” An engaging interdisciplinary look at contemporary Japanese Ceramics paired with nature photographs. Continues through Oct. 15, 2016.
