Las Cruces, NM – Last month, China shot a missile into space destroying a satellite. The United States launched a protest at this signal of Chinese ability to knock out satellites- including American Global Positioning Systems and spy equipment. As KRWG's Jodi Breisler reports, leading expert on space weaponization, Subrata Goshroy, spoke in Las Cruces about the militarization of space and what its effects might be- including on commercial space travel, like at New Mexico's Spaceport America.
