The FBI is warning law enforcement agencies that outlaw biker gangs could be headed for a clash in Albuquerque.
The Albuquerque Journal reports it obtained an FBI intelligence report that says a pair of recent shooting incidents involving members of the Vagos and Banditos clubs could lead to more violence.
The FBI declined to comment on the report but the Journal says Bernalillo County sheriff's Sgt. Aaron Williamson confirmed his agency was among those receiving the FBI warning.
The recent incidents include one on Sunday at a motorcycle club in Albuquerque that left the sergeant-at-arms of the Vagos motorcycle gang dead. The other incident was a violent exchange between members of the two clubs in April that included gunfire but no injuries.
