Federal Cash makes up for Budget Squeeze at Public Schools

Las Cruces, NM – U.S. Department of Education officials announced this week that New Mexico is eligible for another allotment of stimulus money totaling more than one hundred million dollars. The money is supposed to make up for state and local budget cuts, and as KRWG's Marco Grajeda reports, a local education group says the first batch of federal money was helpful.
