Federal Religious Discrimination Lawsuit Against NMSU Football Coach Headed for Trial
By Evan Woodward
Las Cruces, NM – Tuesday, Federal Court Judge William Lynch denied two motions for summary judgment filed by Las Cruces attorney Larry White, on behalf of New Mexico State University Head Football Coach, Hal Mumme. White asked Judge Lynch to throw out the religious discrimination lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union on behalf of four former Muslim players.
As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the lawsuit is currently scheduled to go before a jury on June 25th.
