Las Cruces, NM – A number of local food banks are feeling the crunch of the nation's economic downturn. On average, Community Action Agency of Las Cruces feeds five to ten thousand people a month. Most of the food bank's donations are collected through food drives; but Executive Director Rebecca Reyes says the amount they've collected in recent months has gone down substantially. KRWG's Sarina Turnbull has this report.
