Forums With NMSU Presidential Candidates

 

   Forums for the campus and regional community as well as students are scheduled as part of the on-campus interviews for each of the finalists for the presidency of New Mexico State University April 22 through May 2. Each finalist also will take part in a public reception as part of the visit.

The finalist forums and reception are scheduled as follows:

• Garrey Carruthers, Ph.D., Vice President for Economic Development and Dean, College of Business, New Mexico State University

• Guy Bailey, Ph.D., Professor of English and former President, University of Alabama and Texas Tech University

Open Forum: 4:30 p.m. April 23 Corbett Center Auditorium
Public Reception: 5:45 p.m. April 23 Center for the Arts
Student Forum: 8:15 a.m. April 24 Corbett Center Senate Chambers

• David B. Ashley, Ph.D., Professor of Engineering and former President, University of Nevada-Las Vegas

Student Forum: 8:15 a.m. May 2 Corbett Center Senate Chambers

Both the open and student forums will be webcast at http://panopto.nmsu.edu/pressearch/.

There will be refreshments served at the student forums so students who attend can grab something to eat on their way to classes.
