Free Las Cruces Studio Programs Sneak Peek August 20

The Las Cruces Museum of Art Studio Programs offer creative learning opportunities for all ages and skill levels. Visitors to the Museum can get a free sneak peek at Fall session classes, featuring demonstrations by instructors and on-site registration from 2-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 20.

Art studio programs are taught by experienced and qualified instructors. Classes must have a minimum of 4 students and are capped at 10 so students can receive individualized attention.

There are a variety of class options including: beginning and intermediate ceramics, portrait, still life painting, oil painting for children and adults. There are two 7-week Studio Programs sessions, the first starts September 14 and the second on November 2.

Registration will be available at the Sneak Peak event on August 20. Registrations are due a week before classes start. Information for each individual class will be available at the Sneak Peak and on our website after that.

The Las Cruces Museum system offers and encourages lifelong learning opportunities. Studies have shown that creative outlets allow us to destress and the diversion helps us to focus better and be more efficient.

The museum is located at 491 N. Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  For additional information, visit the website at: http://las-cruces.org/museums or call 575-541-2137.

If you need an accommodation for a disability to enable you to fully participate in this event, please contact the museum 48 hours prior to the event.
