Las Cruces – Golf enthusiasts can hit the links - and support future New Mexico State University College of Engineering students - by participating in the First Annual Volt Information Sciences Slide Rule Golf Classic.
The tournament will be played at the NMSU Golf Course on Thursday, Feb. 24, in the midst of National Engineers Week. Registration begins at 7 a.m., and play opens with a shotgun start at 8:30. An awards luncheon will follow in the NMSU Golf Course banquet room at 1 p.m., with prizes offered by Callaway Golf.
Entry fees are $100 for individual players and $400 per four-person team, with proceeds supporting engineering scholarships for future NMSU engineering students.
