By KRWG News

New Mexico – SANTA FE, N.M. (KRWG) Gov. Susana Martinez has appointed Albuquerque businessman Steven Reinhart to run a state division in charge of liquor licenses.

Regulation and Licensing Superintendent J. Dee Dennis, Jr., announced Thursday that Steven Reinhart has been selected director of the agency's Alcohol and Gaming Division, which issues liquor licenses.

Reinhart worked for an Albuquerque law firm from 1992 to 1996, before becoming general manager of a family business that does structural steel fabrication and installation.

Reinhart has a bachelor's degree in public relations and a law degree from Texas Tech University.

Gary Tomada, who had been appointed by former Gov. Bill Richardson, has served as division director until recently.
