Groundbreaking For Northern NM Broadband

Northern New Mexico – ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRWG) U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman will travel to Espa ola Monday to take part in the groundbreaking for a new high-speed, open access broadband network that will be built in northern New Mexico.

REDI Net will serve more than 130 community institutions and thousands of end users, through partnerships with last-mile providers. The project is funded by $10.6 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Bingaman will also Visit Santa Clara Pueblo to meet with pueblo officials to tour and be briefed on damage caused by the Las Conchas wildfire.
