Albuquerque – Albuquerque voters are considering whether to approve $214 million in city projects - $54 million more than a 2009 proposal.
Mayor Richard Berry is urging voters to support all 12 bond proposals, which would pay for libraries, streets and other improvements.
One proposal would rebuild the Paseo del Norte/Interstate 25 interchange. The other is the construction of a complex of sports fields and indoor courts.
The Albuquerque Journal (http://bit.ly/q3LmI2 ) reports the projects are part of a mayoral initiative called "ABQ: The Plan."
City officials say that none of the bond proposals would result in a tax increase.
