El Paso, Texas –El Paso Electric (EPE) will require an eastbound and westbound closure of I-10 from 3 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2017, between North Mesa Street and Resler Drive in west El Paso to allow EPE crews to safely work on structures related to the TxDOT GO 10 Project.
The closure is needed to allow EPE crews to safely replace wires on a distribution line just south of the N. Mesa St. exit (approximately at Cracker Barrel/Leos restaurant).
Detour Information:
- Eastbound: All traffic must exit North Mesa (exit 11) then turn right onto Mesa Street. Commuters will have to take Mesa down to Doniphan (Left) to Sunland Park Drive (Left) get the I-10 eastbound ramp on Sunland Park Drive. Mesa Street underneath the I-10 bridge will be closed in both directions. Commuters will not be able to make a left onto Mesa Street.
- Westbound: All traffic must exit Resler Drive (exit 12) and make a left on N. Mesa St. Commuters can take Mesa to I-10 westbound ramp.
