Help breakup the gridlock:

·        Stagger your commute times to lessen the impact of rush hour.

·        Avoid driving during rush hours if you can.

·        Carpool or take Sun Metro to reduce the number of vehicles on the road – even if just once a week (did you know UTEP discounts parking for people who carpool).

·        Try an alternate route – Transmountain (Loop 375) is great if trying to get to the other side of town.

·        Use a traffic app before starting your car to find the best route (TxDOT offers the Metropia app, but there are many other apps).

·        Work remotely if you can – even if just once a week.

·        Pull off the road and patronize a nearby business if you get caught in a traffic jam on North Mesa Street or Sunland Park Drive.
