Las Cruces, NM: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) with El Terrero Construction will need to establish a full closure for the I-10 eastbound Motel Boulevard exit.
The closure must be placed in order to install a large overhead sign at the I-10 off ramp. Traffic control will be placed informing motorists of the detours for eastbound traffic. Alternate routes will be US-70/Picacho exit 135, or Avenida De Mesilla exit 140 as access points to enter the City of Las Cruces. Movement of traffic will continue along I-10 as work is being conducted.
The closure is scheduled for Thursday January 31, 2013 starting at 9:00 a.m. and is anticipated on being open by 3:00 p.m. that afternoon.
