Pat's son, Eric who died two years ago, was diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic. She spoke about how it felt to be a parent of a schizophrenic, what signs to look out for, how you cope and what help is available. Eric was a prolific composer of what Pat calls "Classical Space Music" and some of the tracks were featured in the show.
