Las Cruces,NM – On Fronteras: A Changing America, we take a look at the changing Southwest landscape in terms of housing.

Also, the Former President of Mexico is opening a new research center in Texas with hope of inspiring young immigrants.

A local organization is working to change the climate of social justice along the border by hosting volunteers to work and serve in social service agencies in the Las Cruces, El Paso and Juarez area. The Border Servant Corps is a program in which participants spend a year in the border region working in various service partnerships. In part two of the interview with Border Servant Corps director Ryan Steinmetz, we discuss the impact the violence in Juarez and along the border has had on the AmeriCorps program serving the border region.
