Las Cruces Accepting Winter Camp Applications

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Section will be accepting registration applications for the upcoming Winter Camp 2012 for students in K-7^th grades. Activities will include field trips, a medic ball tournament, guest speakers and other fun events.

The camp will run during the weekdays on the following dates:

·         Week 1:  December 26^th - 28^th

·         Week 2:  December 31^st, January 2^nd - 4^th

·         Week 3:  January 7th - 8th

The hours of operation for this all-day camp will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Lunch will NOT be provided and participants are strongly encouraged to bring a sack lunch. Water and Gatorade will be provided.

Full payment of $95 will be accepted from December 3^rd thru December 21^st from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 Hadley Ave. Cost will cover the entire camp and include a t-shirt.

Note:  To complete registration, parents/guardians must provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate.

Acceptable payment methods are cash, cashier’s check, money order, traveler’s checks, and major credit cards. No debit cards please.
