Las Cruces Police are investigating an early Thursday morning armed robbery at a sandwich shop on University Avenue.
At around 2 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, Las Cruces Police were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at the Jimmy John’s store at 901 E. University Ave. Police learned that two men, both armed with guns, entered the business, ordered employees to the floor and demanded money.
The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and left out of the store’s north entrance. No shots were fired and no injuries reported.
Both suspects concealed their identity.
